Cornstarch

This fine cornstarch is versatile and completely tasteless. It gives pastries and cakes a soft and fluffy texture, desserts the desired consistency, and sauces and soups the desired thickness. Ideal for soups, sauces, creams, for baking cakes, pastries, waffles or dumplings.

Ingredients: Corn starch*.

Dosage:

• 1 heaped teaspoon = approx. 10 g
• 1 heaped tablespoon = approx. 20 g

For 500 ml of liquid:

• Soups: 15 – 20 g
• Sauces: 20 – 25 g
• Creams / fruit fillings: 25 – 30 g
• Pudding: 30 – 35 g
