Processed Cream Cheese
The cream tastes great as a soft spread. It can also be used as a base for cheese sauces or as a raw vegetable dip. None of the usual melting salts are used for preservation (therefore, the product must be kept refrigerated). The only melting salt used is citric acid (sodium citrate). Citrate is approved for the production of organic sausages and is essential for the spreadability of cheese specialties.
