Yong Xi Huo Qing or Flaming Green is the highest grade of genuine green tea, originating from China, from the Anhui province. Due to the shape and colour of the rolled leaves, it is comparable in appearance to Gunpowder tea.

Flaming Green is carefully processedfrom the first two upper leaves, which guarantees the highest quality and excellent taste of the resulting infusion. The strong, yet delicious taste is accompanied by the interplay of bitterness and sweetness. The infusion is greenish to yellow-green in colour with a characteristic, floral aroma. When prepared, the tea surprises with the very rapid development of pearls, which resemble burning. Hence the name "flaming green".

Green tea has been known to mankind for more than 5 thousand years and is perceived as the basic tea. The largest producers are China and Japan. It is part of Eastern medicine, where it is attributed magical effects. It is associated with many rituals and cultural traditions, especially in Southeast Asian countries. In general, green tea has a fresh aroma and a milder taste than black tea. Dried leaves should be green, firm and shiny. This is tea that has undergone minimal oxidation.

Chinese tea tree acts as an antioxidant and supports physical and mental activity. Drinking tea is suitable for maintaining healthy teeth, supports the condition of bones and skin. It is recommended for weight control, it is able to normalize blood glucose levels and fat metabolism. It supports normal heart health. Recommended preparation: Put three to four teaspoons (6–8 g) of tea in a teapot and pour 500 ml of water at a temperature of 80 °C. Let it steep for 2–3 minutes. This tea can be used to prepare 3 infusions. With each subsequent infusion, increase the steeping time by 1 minute.
