Gorgonzola DOP
A soft blue cheese made from unpasteurized whole cow's milk. It is named after the town in Lombardy near Milan, where it is said to have originated in the twelfth century. Gorgonzola is characterized by a slightly bitter taste, soft consistency and blue veins.
