Organic green teas from the South Korean volcanic island of Jeju are becoming increasingly popular. In addition to organic sencha, organic kukicha and organic genmaicha, we have now added another top spring tea to our range. One of the first teas harvested in spring, known as "Woojeon", is used for this variety. Unlike Sencha, it is not shaped into the characteristic "needles", but retains its curly shape created by rolling. It is a real delicacy: sweet, fresh with typical algae notes.

Jangwon Farm in the south of the island refutes everything that is spread about tea as "truth": Good teas are only available at altitudes above 1200 m, the Jangwon tea fields are almost at sea level! Good tea is only picked by hand, everything is cut here with machines at a speed of 2.5 km / h! The freshness of the leaves when they reach the factory is crucial here. Not even 20 minutes after harvesting, the leaves are in cooled troughs. You can see for yourself what a difference in taste this makes.

Preparation: Before use, rinse the teapot with hot water. 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per cup. Place the green tea in a filter bag and boil in hot water at 80 ° C. Let it steep for 2 minutes.
