Bear's garlic (lat. Allium ursinum) is a perennial plant growing up to 40 cm tall. The root is bulbous, the stem is straight, the leaves are mostly ground and petiolate, covered on the surface with a cuticle, which is why the leaves are smooth and light. The flowers of bear's garlic are white, small and often form inflorescences in the shape of an umbel. The fruit is a capsule. The plant is native to the Caucasus and Eastern Europe, but over time its geophyte spread throughout Europe and Asia.
Bear's garlic has a beneficial effect on the health of the heart and vascular system, supports circulatory functions, contributes to maintaining normal cholesterol metabolism.
