This pure 100% apple juice from direct pressing (i.e. not from concentrate) is made from apples grown according to strict biodynamic principles and is Demeter certified. Fresh, sun-ripened apples from renowned orchard areas in southern Germany and varieties best suited for must production were used to produce the must. The result is a truly balanced, naturally pleasantly sweet and slightly sour taste.
What is direct pressing? Conventional juices are made from concentrate, which is produced by evaporating the pressed juice. Juice concentrated in this way is cheaper to transport and store. The concentrate is diluted with water before being filled into the final packaging. Concentration has a negative effect on both the vitamin content and the taste of the juice. Direct pressing juices are obtained by pressing fresh fruit and immediately bottling the pressed juice. The juice is then pasteurized by a short, gentle heating process, which ensures the microbiological safety of the juice. Pasteurized juice does not need to be stored in the refrigerator until it is opened. The difference between juice from concentrate and juice from direct pressing is noticeable at the first sip - taste it!
Is the juice suitable for vegans? Some manufacturers filter the juice through gelatin after pressing. Beutelsbacher does NOT use gelatin in production, and the juices of this brand are therefore also suitable for strict vegans.

What is demeter? Biodynamic farming complies with all the requirements of organic farming, and products bearing the demeter certificate are also certified organic. However, biodynamic farming is stricter in some respects and farmers must comply with a number of additional procedures compared to organic farming. The priority is to naturally increase soil fertility, for example by using natural products and crop rotation. The farm is seen as a whole, where each activity affects other activities. A biodynamic farmer perceives nature and farms in harmony with the environment and not against it. Biodynamically grown products carry the protected Demeter label and are certified and controlled in the same way as organic products.
