This 100% juice is gently pressed from Tuscan sea buckthorn, which gives it a very pleasant taste. Sea buckthorn is valued for its health benefits. Its juice contains ten times more vitamin C than lemon juice. It is used preventively and therapeutically for infections, states of exhaustion and loss of appetite. During the flu season, we recommend using sea buckthorn juice to strengthen immunity.
Is the juice suitable for vegans? Some manufacturers filter the juice through gelatin after pressing. Beutelsbacher does NOT use gelatin in its production, and the juices of this brand are therefore also suitable for strict vegans.
What is direct pressing? Conventional juices are made from concentrate, which is produced by evaporating the pressed juice. Juice concentrated in this way is cheaper to transport and store. The concentrate is diluted with water before filling into the final packaging. Thickening has a negative effect on both the vitamin content and the taste of the juice. Directly pressed juices are obtained by pressing fresh fruit and immediately bottling the squeezed juice. The juice is then pasteurized by brief gentle heating, which ensures the microbiological safety of the juice. Pasteurized juice does not need to be stored in the refrigerator until opening. The difference between juice from concentrate and juice from direct pressing is noticeable at the first sip - taste it!
