Shou Mei is also translated as eyebrows of long age or old man's eyebrows. This is a basic class of white tea originating from the Fujian region of China. Its taste is round, without prominent tones and is suitable for serving in a larger circle of friends. The rich infusion stands out with a slightly honey taste and nutty aroma. The cup of tea is slightly brownish with a tips dusty taste.

White tea generally has a very delicate taste and aroma. This is a very exceptional tea - in the past it was so rare that only Chinese emperors were allowed to drink it. Its aroma was highly valued and the emperors were served tea as a miraculous drink that extended life. Nowadays, the Western world is also noticing its benefits, and white tea is slowly catching up with green tea in popularity.

Chinese tea tree acts as an antioxidant and supports physical and mental activity. Drinking tea is suitable for maintaining healthy teeth, supports the condition of bones and skin. It is recommended for weight control, and is able to normalize blood glucose levels and fat metabolism. It supports normal heart health.

Recommended preparation:
Pour two to three tablespoons of tea (approx. 4–6 g) over 500 ml of water at a temperature of 70–80 °C. Infuse for 3–5 minutes, then strain. This tea can be used to prepare 2-3 infusions by pouring water at a temperature of 80-90 °C. Genuine white tea Shou Mei is suitable for everyday drinking.
