The Exo Terra Terrarium is the ideal habitat for reptiles and amphibians, designed by European herpetologists. The front opening door allows easy access for maintenance and feeding.
- A specially designed lock prevents escape and the door can be opened independently.
- The upper ventilation mesh cover allows UVB and infrared radiation to pass through and can be completely removed for easy access, while also having a decorative and cleaning function.
- On the back of the cover there are 5 closable entries for wires and hoses on both sides, suitable for installing heat-emitting rocks, waterfalls, sensors, etc. inside the terrarium.
- The bottom plate of the terrarium lifts up and allows the insertion of a heating element for heating.

3D BACKGROUND
The rocky background of the Exo Terra Rock Terrarium Background (which is included in the terrarium) is easy to cut and has a great natural look. It creates a multi-dimensional habitat ideal for climbing reptiles and is easy to use as a natural terrarium decoration. The colour and texture are the same as all Exo Terra natural decorations and create a perfectly harmonious environment, wet or dry. The deep grooves in the back are perfect for hiding wires and hoses from pumps or rocks emitting heat waves. The background is made of black polystyrene, so it will not be visible if the background is accidentally damaged (white polystyrene would be very noticeable if it was damaged). The polystyrene has the advantage of also acting as insulation and is easy to cut when it is necessary to adapt it to any terrarium.
