Tulsi (Ocimum sanctum), also known as “holy basil” or “queen of herbs”, is one of the most important herbs in Indian traditional medicine. This aromatic perennial herb comes from subtropical parts of India. It differs from the popular true basil not only in its taste, but also in its health benefits.
