This couscous is made from whole grain Italian durum wheat in organic quality. Couscous originally comes from North Africa and is one of the staple foods of North African cuisine. It has many uses in the kitchen. We can use it as the main ingredient in vegetable dishes as well as meat and fish dishes. It also serves as a quick and nutritious side dish or a filling for soup. However, it also finds its place in sweet dishes. Cold couscous is most often served in combination with fresh or grilled vegetables as a hearty salad.
Basic preparation: Pour 100 ml of couscous with a teaspoon of oil into 120 ml of hot water and leave for 5 minutes under the lid. Fluff with a fork and let stand for another 3 minutes.
