Kukicha Japanese Tea

For this tea, the delicate branches of the tea bush are harvested in late autumn and stored for 2 to 3 years. During this ripening period, their full aroma develops, which is slightly rounded off by subsequent roasting. Preparation: Add 2 teaspoons of organic kukicha to 500 ml of boiled water and let it steep for 5 minutes on the lowest heat. For tea from an infusion bag, pour 1 bag per cup of boiled water and let it steep for 5 minutes.
