Beutelsbacher organic ginger juice 0.2 l

This juice is obtained by directly pressing ginger root and lemons. Its exotic sharp taste is given by naturally occurring essential oils and a substance called gingerol, contained in ginger. Gingerol is the active ingredient in fresh ginger, chemically related to capsaicin, the compound that gives chili peppers their heat. Ginger juice is excellent for flavoring aromatic teas or drinks, soups or dishes, for mixing with other juices, for preparing homemade lemonade and in cocktails. However, it is so sharp and strong that it is not suitable for direct consumption without dilution.
TIP: If you do not use the entire package and do not want the juice to spoil, you can freeze it in ice cube trays.

What is direct pressing? Regular juices are made from concentrate, which is produced by evaporating the pressed juice. Juice concentrated in this way is cheaper to transport and store. Before filling into the final package, the concentrate is diluted with water. Thickening has a negative effect on both the vitamin content and the taste of the juice. Direct-pressed juices are obtained by pressing fresh fruit and immediately bottling the squeezed juice. The juice is then pasteurized by a short, gentle heating process, which ensures the microbiological safety of the juice. Pasteurized juice does not need to be stored in the refrigerator until opened. The difference between juice from concentrate and juice from direct pressing is noticeable at the first sip - taste it!
Is the juice suitable for vegans? Some manufacturers filter the juice through gelatin after squeezing. Beutelsbacher DOES NOT use gelatin in its production, and this brand's juices are therefore also suitable for strict vegans.
