The juice is pressed from fresh aronia berries or black rowan berries. This superfood comes from North America and its effects were already known and used by the indigenous people. Find out about its effects, for example, on the Internet. The juice can be consumed undiluted, but mainly as a base for lemonades, mixed with other juices, in tea and even in cocktails.
Is the juice suitable for vegans? Some manufacturers filter the juice through gelatin after pressing. Beutelsbacher does NOT use gelatin in its production, and this brand's juices are therefore also suitable for strict vegans.
What is direct pressing? Regular juices are made from concentrate, which is produced by evaporating the pressed juice. Juice concentrated in this way is cheaper to transport and store. The concentrate is diluted with water before filling into the final package. Thickening has a negative effect on both the vitamin content and the taste of the juice. Direct-pressed juices are obtained by pressing fresh fruit and immediately bottling the squeezed juice. The juice is then pasteurized by a short, gentle heating process, which ensures the microbiological safety of the juice. Pasteurized juice does not need to be stored in the refrigerator until opened. The difference between juice from concentrate and juice from direct pressing is noticeable at the first sip - try it!

WHAT IS DEMETER? Biodynamic agriculture complies with all the requirements of organic farming, and products bearing the Demeter certificate are also certified organic. However, biodynamic agriculture is stricter in some respects and farmers must follow a number of additional procedures compared to organic farming. The priority is to naturally increase soil fertility, for example using natural products and crop rotation. The farm is perceived as a whole, where each activity affects other activities. A biodynamic farmer perceives nature and farms in harmony with the environment and not against it. Biodynamically grown products carry the protected Demeter label and are certified and controlled in the same way as organic products.
