This pure 100% direct-pressed juice is obtained from fresh clementine mandarins from the European Mediterranean, which have been grown according to the principles of organic farming. Many gourmets prefer this juice, which beautifully combines the sweetness and acidity of citrus fruit, to orange juice. Like orange juice, clementine juice is a rich source of vitamin C.
Is the juice suitable for vegans? Some manufacturers filter the juice through gelatin after pressing. Beutelsbacher does NOT use gelatin in its production, and its juices are therefore suitable even for strict vegans.
What is direct-pressed juice? Regular juices are made from concentrate, which is produced by evaporating the pressed juice. The juice concentrated in this way is cheaper to transport and store. The concentrate is diluted with water before filling into the final package. Thickening has a negative effect on both the vitamin content and the taste of the juice. Direct-pressed juices are obtained by pressing fresh fruit and immediately bottling the squeezed juice. The juice is then pasteurized by a short, gentle heating process, which ensures the microbiological safety of the juice. Pasteurized juice does not need to be stored in the refrigerator until opened. The difference between juice from concentrate and juice from direct pressing is noticeable at the first sip - taste it!
