Product detailed description
Lactic fermented beet juice from direct pressing. The beet comes from biodynamic production (demeter) and does not come from hybrid seeds, but from original varieties. Lactic fermentation mainly produces L(+) lactic acid, which is why lactic fermented juices are valued among nutritional specialists. Lactic fermented beet juice has a very pleasant, slightly sweet taste and a small glass for breakfast will start digestion for the whole day. This juice is an excellent part of cleansing treatments and can be drunk even during a light day without eating. Thanks to its intense color, it is also used to color foods - a small drop can color desserts, marzipan, etc.
What is direct pressing? Regular juices are made from concentrate, which is produced by evaporating pressed juice. Juice concentrated in this way is cheaper to transport and store. Before filling into the final package, the concentrate is diluted with water. Thickening has a negative effect on both the vitamin content and the taste of the juice. Direct-pressed juices are obtained by pressing fresh fruit and immediately bottling the squeezed juice. The juice is then pasteurized by a short, gentle heating process, which ensures the microbiological safety of the juice. Pasteurized juice does not need to be stored in the refrigerator until opened. The difference between juice from concentrate and juice from direct pressing is noticeable at the first sip - taste it!
Is the juice suitable for vegans? Some manufacturers filter the juice through gelatin after pressing. Beutelsbacher does NOT use gelatin in its production, and the juices of this brand are therefore also suitable for strict vegans.
What is demeter? Biodynamic agriculture complies with all the requirements of organic farming, and products bearing the demeter certificate are also organically certified. However, biodynamic farming is stricter in some respects and farmers must follow a number of additional procedures compared to organic farming. The priority is to naturally increase soil fertility, for example by using natural products and crop rotation. The farm is seen as a whole, where each activity influences other activities. A biodynamic farmer perceives nature and operates in harmony with the environment and not against it. Biodynamically grown products carry the protected Demeter label and are certified and controlled in the same way as organic products.
