High-percentage sour cream made from excellent Alpine milk is worth trying. We can see the difference at first glance when we open it - the cream has a creamy yellowish color and a pleasant aroma, caused by natural feed - herbs, clover, grass. Unlike conventional products, it does not contain stabilizers and thickeners. The fat content is 24% and it is very easy to mix into sauces and dressings.
Berchtesgadener Land sour cream is made from milk from free-range cows, which choose the mountain herbs that suit them the most. This is reflected not only in the nutritional values of the milk, but also in its aroma and taste. The milk has a creamier yellowish color compared to conventional milk, a delicious taste and a pleasant aroma. The cream made from this milk not only stands out in taste, but also in its nutritional properties. The milk from which it is produced had the highest levels of essential fatty acids and valuable conjugated linoleic acid in a study conducted by Kessel University in 2006 and has been awarded the highest award of the German Agricultural Society, the Gold Medal, every year since 1997. In the milk test of the renowned Stiftung Warentest association from 11/2007, it was rated as the best of the tested milks and received the highest rating of "Sehr gut". BENEFITS OF ORGANIC MILK IN GENERAL: Cows are not allowed to consume genetically modified crops and animal feed (so-called meat and bone meal). Mad cow disease has never been proven in any cow from organic farming. The use of hormones and preventive administration of antibiotics is prohibited. If an animal needs to be treated with antibiotics, the period during which its milk is not processed for sale is extended by at least twice compared to conventional breeding.
