Banana flour
Flour made from green bananas.
Gluten-free organic banana flour can be used just as versatilely as traditional flours and even as starch. When baking cakes, brownies, etc., about 30% can be replaced with banana flour. For dishes such as pancakes, semolina porridge or roux, you can even replace 100% of the traditional type of flour with banana flour. Also suitable as a binder for sauces and soups.
Contrary to its name, banana flour does not taste like bananas. The taste is neutral, so it can be used for all kinds of dishes - sweet or savory.
