If we want to use them without cooking, we can soak them in advance so that they absorb the liquid better and soften. Oatmeal: Pour 1.8 cups of milk or vegetable drink over a cup of flakes, add a pinch of salt and cook for 7 minutes, stirring constantly. Season on the plate.
